Meet the Greens
As Native Washingtonians, we take pride in helping to build beautiful landmarks and monuments in the nation’s capital including the National Park Ball Stadium, the Natural History Museum, National Zoo and the FDR Memorial to name a few. One look at the city’s magnificent structure, and you’ll understand why we’re so proud of our ability to impact and contribute to its architecture, local culture and economy. About us
Clifton Green – Owner/President:
- 30 years of structural ironwork experience in residential, commercial industrial, and construction arenas.
- Business responsibilities include project oversight, communications, and marketing.
- In 1990, Mr. Green earned his welding certificate.
- Joined Ironworker’s Local Union 5.
- General Foreman positions with multiple ironwork companies before making the leap to start his own in 2010. He is a certified welder and master ironworker.
Malaika Green – Vice President/General Manager:
- 15 years of experience in business administration and human resources.
- Before becoming a partner in the business, Mrs. Green was a former elementary school teacher with the District of Columbia Public School system.
- She received her graduate degree in Business Administration from Trinity University, Washington, DC. Business responsibilities include finance, human resources, and general company management.
